What will I study?
The National Diploma in Music Technology is designed to provide the knowledge, understanding and skills for learners wishing to pursue a career using technological skills.

How can I progress?
Higher National Diploma in Music Production, a full-time degree in Music Technology or employment and promotion prospects.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
In order to qualify for this course students will need; *5 GCSEs at grade C (including maths or a science/ICT), *Or a National Award in Music Technology, *And/or approriate work experience.

Course Structure
In order to gain a full BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology these units will be studied; *The Music Industry, *Listening Skills, *MIDI Sequencing and Software, *Sound Recording Techniques, *Studio Production Process, *Studio Production (Major Project). There are also 12 specialists units ranging from Music Publishing to Digital Audio Principles. Units are all internally assessed except the Studio Production Process and Major Project, which are both internally and externally assessed.
