Information about the course

The BTEC National Diploma is studied over 2 years. However students maybe able to attain the National Award at the end of their first year, and the National Diploma after successful completion of the second year.

Course content

18 units are studied in total over the two year period. The course examines all aspects of playing, coaching and improving sporting performance. This takes in aspects such as fitness testing, coaching skills, knowledge of anatomy and physiology and psychological and social influences on sport.
