What will I study on this course?
The course is based on what scientists and engineers do in their jobs, rather than on separate academic subject areas. It:

• Concentrates on the knowledge, skills and techniques found in real-life situations
• Includes research, practical work and problem solving
• Builds up your scientific skills and your knowledge of key areas in Biology, Chemistry and Physics

How is the course assessed?
Applied Science involves 100% course work which will require you to build up a portfolio as your work progresses. You will be assessed on a mixture of practical assessment, project work and individual research.
