The objectives of this course is to work practically on developing new techniques for preparing budgets and financial models, leaving you with skills to manage annual company or organisation budgets and models.

This programme is aimed at all senior managers from any professional background who want to improve or excel in finance

SMALL SCALE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE

To provide business people with the tools information and skills which will equip them to start up and run an effective small scale business enterprise. A business plan will be drafted by the end of the course pulling together all the elements learnt.

The course will be held over a three hour period and consist of the following 5 core modules:

  • Business Framework: Personal/Business Audit and Reflection, company structure and name, vision, mission, objectives
  • Products and Services - what is it?, positioning, packaging, USP, sales pricing plans and strategy
  • The Market - know your market. Who are you planning to sell to? Competitor analysis, customer decision making, how to do Research and the Marketing Plan
  • Financials and Administration - cashflow and budgets, organising your paperwork. The legal side of business; health and safety, tax liabilities, etc
  • Resources - management of personnel, skills development, organisational effectiveness, processes management, change management. Leading an effective organisation
