Career Progression
The qualification will allow you to progress into employment, although not as a fully qualified electrician but at an Improver/Electrician's Mate level. In order to fully qualify as an Electrician you will need to complete a Level 3 qualification either College or work based. Summary
This qualification covers a range of basic tasks and underpinning knowledge involved in electrical installation. All teaching will take place in our fully equipped workshops, laboratories and classrooms under guidance from qualified and experienced staff. Your course will be made up of units which will likely be; Structure of the construction industry, fundamental safe working practices, environmental and sustainability measures in domestic dwellings, site preparation for working in the construction industry, electrical installation wiring and terminations. fabrication techniques for electrical installation and electrical science and technology.
