Throughout Business Administration Level 4, you will work to improve, expand and enhance your abilities to allow you to excel in an administrative role. As part of the team, you will assist with and take control of a range of tasks, including:
- Managing events, information systems, budgets and professional development
- Design business processes and optimise the use of technology in the workplace
- Develop and maintain working relationships with stakeholders and other professionals
- Collaborate with various departments, and chair and lead meetings
- Gaining an understanding of marketing, IT systems and finance
Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at those who are already working in a business administration environment and have responsibility for the work of others and resources. Looking to gain further mastery of your business administration skills then this apprenticeship is for you. Throughout Business Administration Level 4, you will work to improve, expand and enhance your abilities to allow you to excel in an administrative role.

- NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administration
- Technical Certificate – Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administration

Possible progression to a Level 5 or Management qualification.
How will I be assessed?
Through projects, assignments and provide evidence through workplace activities.
What are the Entry Requirements
Candidates will be working in middle to senior administration role and have gained a Diploma or NVQ level 3 in Business Administration. It is necessary to attend an interview with the Work Based Learning team and Business administration assessor/course tutor, complete basic skills assessments in literacy and numeracy. You will be expected to have at least basic numeracy and literacy functional skills level 2 if you do not have a GCSE’s in English and Maths.
Attendance
College attendance is required; however one hour weekly online learning for the technical knowledge will also be required. This will be in conjunction with assessment in the workplace. Attendance and progress is closely monitored by the assessor towards the qualifications and your employer will be informed of any non-activity.
Requirements in the workplace
Students are required to be employed in a suitable work placement providing administrative tasks in a supervisory or senior role. Skilled and knowledgeable staff in placement to support the apprentice.

if you do not already have one.
