You'll learn useful skills such as academic writing, work in diverse teams and learn to utilise a wide variety of data sources. In doing so, you'll fully prepare yourself for undergraduate study.

Applied learning

Work placements

You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your third and fourth years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career with companies such as GSK, NHS, Microsoft, SAP and Virgin. Salaries of up to £30,000 are possible.You also have the option to study abroad for a semester in you third year if you are successful in applying to the global mobility initiative, which allows you to choose from over 40 European destinations and 20 other international university partnerships under English instruction.

Live projects

With the support of academics you are asked to solve a real-world client decision problem through a consultancy assignment in your third year. You are prepared for this task as the assignment synthesises the learning from the previous three/four years' experience.
