Standard entry to this course requires a reference, 90% attendance in your last place of study or work, and five GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above including English and maths.



Consideration will be given to all applicants over the age of 19 who do not hold formal English and maths qualifications.

Course programme

Year 1

During the course you will study nine different units that will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to either enter the workplace or progress onto the Extended Diploma in Business. Some of the units you will study include: business environment; finance; business communications; team building; and marketing. Recent cohorts have taken part in live projects with local employers thus linking their academic study to the workplace.

Additional information

There are a variety of assessment methods which include report writing, PowerPoint presentations, discussions, live projects, and role-play assessment.
