About this course

Progression to university and opportunities up to and including trainee management programmes in the banking, retail and insurance industries. This course also develops skills for starting up a small business.
HE courses taught at Gower College Swansea which you can progress to include the HND Business and Accountancy or the Foundation Degree in Events Management

Four GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or the Level 2 Diploma at Merit level or Distinction required to undertake this course.

Course programme

The course is assessed by vocationally relevant continuous assessment, written assignment, individual investigation, on-line examination and written examinations.

* LIBF qualifications are exam based and will require a pass at Certificate level in order to progress to Diploma level.

Classroom hours are 20 per week. All Level 3 courses will require considerable extra work outside of classroom time.

Additional information

Year 2 students all participate in a UK/International visit which is funded by the student.
