Course programme
Individual
An individual training programme will ensure maximum language impact.
Intensive Courses are suitable for individuals moving abroad or those who need to progress very rapidly. This could involve 6 hours per day tuition, with several days booked at regular intervals over a few weeks, or a complete week of 30 hours language training.
After completion of a detailed training needs analysis and our diagnostic assessment based on current language competence, the individual course profile will be agreed. Key elements will typically include:
- Professional vocabulary to meet course objectives
- Pronunciation
- Role-play for business and social situations associated with course objectives
- Cultural Awareness
- Continued Study - Personal Learning Plan
- Appropriate learning materials to be used during and after the course
Individual or Group Programmes
Regular Weekly Training Sessions are suitable for groups of executives or individuals who do not need to learn the language rapidly but need to achieve the same result as the Intensive Course but over a longer period of time.
Initially the current language skills of the individual, or the participants in the proposed group, would be assessed. Training needs would then be identified and targets established for staff in different sectors or divisions.
For group training, learners would need to be matched with others at similar levels of language competence, sharing broad training objectives, up to a maximum of six participants.
ST Corporate training will monitor the progress of the programme and report at regular intervals to the client’s training department as agreed at the start of the course. This feedback will enable the client to evaluate the success of the training to date and provide opportunities for the client to contribute to the ongoing course content.
