About this course
For standard entry, applicants should have an Honours degree or equivalent qualifications, or a postgraduate qualification, in a non-IT related subject area.
Special entry requirements
For international students, evidence of sufficient skill in English is required, with a minimum requirement being an IELTS score of 6.0, a TOEFL score of 580, or an equivalent score in TELAS, the University of Bedfordshire's own English language testing scheme.

Teaching/learning methods and strategies
The MSc in Business Information Systems uses a number of teaching and learning strategies. Strategies used include: lectures, practicals, seminars, group work, discussion boards, individual and group-based assignments etc.

Dissertation/project and research
In order to successfully complete an MSc. in Business Information Systems you will be required to undertake a dissertation. The exact topic that covered will be successfully negotiated between the student and their supervisor. In full time mode you will be expected to undertake your dissertation in the 3rd semester of study.
Attendance
Full time students will study four modules per semester, with the possibility of some modules running in the daytime, and others running in the evening, usually from 6.30pm.
