Business Management

Business Management BA (Hons) is a flexible and dynamic course that provides a sound understanding of managerial theory and practice and offers potential to specialise in your chosen areas of interest. There is a wide range of options, and opportunities for specialisation in Years 2 and 3.

Throughout the course you will be encouraged to apply the concepts and theories discussed during your course to real settings. You will have the chance to develop your practical skills throughout the course – including effective communication, team leadership, research, analytical and presentation skills.
In addition, you will be given opportunities to use IT in the preparation and presentation of your work, enabling you to become fully conversant with relevant business technology.

During the course you will hone your problem-solving skills as well as becoming adept at planning, analysis and organisation. You will have the chance to undertake an independent research project that will develop your personal efficiency, alongside opportunities to build your teamwork and leadership skills.
You will become an expert communicator, with innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship as your key attributes.
