Program structure
The Bachelors of Business Management/Journalism is made up of two course lists:
Course list for the Bachelor of Journalism Course list for the Bachelor of Business Management
Each course is allocated a certain number of units (#). A standard full-time study load is 8 units per semester.
The Bachelors of Business Management/Journalism has a single set of Program Rules, which explain what is required to complete the dual program. These requirements include the total number of units you need to complete in order to graduate.
If you decide to enrol in a dual program, you can use a Dual Degree Planner to help organise your studies.
To have your degree conferred, you also need to comply with UQ’s policies and rules.

A student is required to obtain 48 units from the BJ List comprising:

24 units from Part A; and
8 units from Part B; and
16 units of Electives from -
(i) Part C (which may include up to 2 minors); and/or
(ii) Other courses (please seek advice from Program Director about course selection)
