This hands-on, broad-based degree taught by experienced tutors, covers the main functions of business practice and theory including strategy, organisational analysis, marketing and human resource management with a valuable international perspective.
It combines work based and traditional modules, in order to enhance commercial awareness and professional experience, as well as developing your ability to critically analyse workplace-related subjects and current issues and challenges in business.
You will normally already be in a full-time or part-time employment or volunteer role for a minimum of 6 hours a week for the duration of the course. In certain cases the Course Leader can advise on work placement opportunities when needed.

You will further develop the professional and managerial skills relevant to your employment practice through case studies, interactive discussion, access to guest speakers and real-world insight from experienced tutors. Study facilities
You will study in a friendly environment at our dedicated campus in the centre of Yeovil.
The University Centre Yeovil has 17 modern teaching rooms suitable for classes of between 12 and 30 students. Lectures and conferences take place in our 100-seater lecture theatre, while rooms for specialist study include an AppleMac design suite and a photography and media studio. You will have access to a well-resourced library and facilities at the nearby Yeovil College site including an extended library and sports facilities.
