Entry requirements: Must have completed Level 1 Diploma in Floristry, work in the industry or training towards working in the industry. 3 x GCSE's grade 3 or above including Maths & English.

Course programme
Overview of the course:
You will cover a mixture of theory and practical topics and get hands-on experience working in the Houghall floristry department and plant centre. You will produce seasonal floral arts and designs e.g. Christmas flowers and valentines flowers.
Topics:
Topics covered in the course include: work experience and safe working practices, wedding designs, funeral designs, flower and plant care, promotion and display, planted designs, presentation and hand tied design.
Additional information
Progression options following successful completion of this course may enable you to progress onto the level 3 diploma in floristry or Level 3 work based Diploma in Floristry.
