Target Audience

This qualification will benefit organisations across all sectors where there is a need to review business processes in order to identify and eliminate waste and to improve quality. It is particularly suited to those requiring business improvement tools and techniques to carry out operator and assembly roles in the engineering and manufacturing sector e.g. materials handler, quality control operative, shopfloor operative, process administrator but the tools can be applied in any working environment from the shop floor to the distribution warehouse or office.

Course Duration

As with all NVQ qualifications the duration of the course is driven by the person undertaking the qualification and their employer, as a minimum it could be delivered in as little as 10 weeks.

Successful candidates will be awarded the City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques and may wish to progress into the City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques.
