We would require a pre-course meeting to discuss the course and to establish that this level is suitable for you ‘the candidate’. We will also check that the candidate has the ability to demonstrate competence in working practices within their current work role..
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this NVQ; however candidates must have the potential and opportunity to gain evidence for the qualification in the work place and ideally should be employed in a first line management or supervisory role in Business and Administration

Course programme
Course Delivery:
The NVQ is a competence based qualification, delivered through work based learning. Once an individual training plan is agreed and set up with the candidate, then the assessor will provide the necessary support and guidance. The assessor will assist the candidate in identifying suitable evidence and assessment methods for each unit. Depending on the unit selected, assessment can be carried out by a variety of different methods e.g. to cover ‘performance’ the candidate portfolio can include evidence such as work products (copies of documents etc), assessor observations, witness testimony and written answers or verbal questioning can be used to confirm knowledge and understanding.
