Course Aims:

Progression:
Successful students can go onto employment working under supervision as:
Early years practitioners in family centres
Early years practitioners in primary schools
Early years practitioners in supporting children with special needs
Early years practitioners in After School Clubs
Early Years Practitioners in Pre-school provision
Early Years Practitioners/Nanny within a private family
Early Years Practitioners in a community setting
Successful students can also go onto the Full Time CACHE Level 3 NVQ

Student's work is continuously assessed over the year, through centrally devised assessments, moderated by CACHE plus multiple choice exam paper (MCQ)

This course requires students to pass a Criminal Records Bureau check (CRB) check. Southport College has a policy and Code of Practice on recruitment of ex-offenders. Please refer to the College website where a copy can be found.
