You will study the following units: Introducing the role of the early year’s practitioner, legislation, framework and professional practice, play, development and learning for school, professional development. You will be required to have a placement.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualifications for this course, however you will require a confirmation letter of 12 hours placement per week for the duration of the course within an early years setting, You will also require minimum functional skills level 1 in literacy and numeracy.
Delivery and Assessment
You will be assessed at your placement, through written assessments and a portfolio you will create.
Progression
Once you have completed this course you can study, Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications and other Level 3 qualifications relating to childcare.
