The CACHE Level 2 certificate – introducing caring for children and young people is suitable for new and existing childcare practitioner looking to work with children in a nursery or pre-school setting. Students will learn the vital knowledge required to deliver high quality provision and care to children and young people.
Learners are not required to complete a placement or have any previous knowledge of working with children to complete this course. The qualification is accepted and fully recognised by Ofsted. Upon completion, learners will be awarded the CACHE Level 2 certificate at no extra cost.

Course Assessment Process
There are no formal examinations on this course and the certification fee is included in the course fees.
To pass this course learners must pass several assignments. These are completed after navigating through the corresponding lessons and writing your answers to assignment questions. Once these have been read and marked by your personal tutor, feedback and marks are provided to students which contain helpful tips to improve work in future assignments.
CACHE Level 2 Qualification
This is a knowledge only qualification. Experience in the real work environment is not required and the entire course is completed online. Please note that this is a knowledge only Level 2 qualification and does not require any practical assessments. The course gives a foundation for the level 2 practitioner but not a license to practice.Learners are required to pass 12 assignments in order to gain the CACHE Level 2 certificate.
