This course leads to a Certificate of Achievement from the Awarding Body. We also offer vocational qualification courses so you need to look at one of the Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools Courses, but these also require you to have a placement to complete them.

What I would highlight: This was perfect for me, as I was in full-time employment and I found it impossible to complete this course at College; The Colleges weren't flexible for working people. I was able to complete this at the comfort of my home and at my own speed. The other benefit was I completed this course before those who did the course via College. If you are self-motivated this is right for you, plus you have support available when/if needed.
What could be improved: Nothing.
Would you recommend this course?: Yes

What I would highlight: This course requires a placement so I approached my local primary school who were happy to let me volunteer in their reception class one day a week.
What could be improved: Nothing.
