Course programme

3. Entry requirements Interviews are required for this course. Initial interviews are held on Tuesdays at 4pm in the CAD room at College Green (Room 6W9); if successful this will be followed by a second / phone interview with the course tutor. You don't need to book in advance, but allow at least 1 hour - the time required depends on the number of interviewees who arrive on the day.It is recommended that you have one or more of the following----knowledge of another 3D CAD program e.g. Revit, Sketchup--a suitable aptitude for 3D work based on previous experience--are a capable user of AutoCAD--completed the Using 3Ds Max / Max Design course-- 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method 100% coursework, through a series of three assignments. While the first assignment is the same for all learners on the course, the second two are based on a modelling choice of the individual learners, in line with the parameters of the assignment brief. This allows pursuit of individual particular interests in 3Ds Max use, e.g. architectural, product design, film, game, etc. biases to the 3D modelling undertaken.
