Individuals need no prior experience or knowledge of the softwear but it would be beneficial if individuals are required to use the softwear in their field of emplyment as most of the assessments will be based on work situations.

Adobe Flash Animation (AFA) is the industry standard for interactive authoring and presentations on personal computers and mobile devises.
Being able to express your creative vision in this interactive way will help to distinguish your products, services and business from your competitors. To effectively create dynamic and professional-looking communication a comprehensive knowledge of AFA is vital and this course has been specifically created for individuals wishing to enhance their skills and gain that competitive edge.

The course will cover most features of AFA, including: • User interface • Windows displays • Principles of the stage • Panels • Library • Key frames
Learning outcomes
The course will enable you to: • Develop an understanding of what can achieved through AFA • Use the software confidently and independently • Transfer artwork into Adobe Flash • Create videos, symbols and motion tweens for effective animation that adds activity.
Delivery
The course is delivered part-time at De Montfort University using a variety of teaching approaches, with support available though online learning, email and telephone. Independent study is also required, including programme practice and development of a creative solution.

Career opportunities:
On successful completion of the course individuals will be awarded 10 university credits at level 5. Credits can be put towards a general University Certificate in Professional Development (UCPD) and can count towards a full undergraduate degree, or is recognised on its own as a professional qualification.
