This 8-day 80+hour course(a total of 200+hours with the required externship) is specifically designed for students wishing to pursue a career in this field, but is also targeted and formatted for veterinarians, physical therapists, human massage therapists, equine massage therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and breeders who would like to enhance their canine health care skills. Like our Equinology Equine Body Certification course, this class is taught in a comprehensive logical layered format, so that those with little or no complementary canine care and science background will find themselves up to speed with professional participants. Please note: completion of online course CN3005 (Introduction to Canine Body Work) is compulsory for students who do not work with dogs in a professional capacity. The CN3005 Canine Anatomy and Behaviour course must be registered for, prior to signing up for the Canine Body Worker® certification course.

After completing the pre-course online study in Canine Anatomy and Behaviour (CN3005), the actual CCBW course and the required externship, the student will be able to evaluate canine posture and movement, and confidently apply a complete massage.
The Canine Body Worker® (CCBW) certificate is issued upon successful completion of the required externship.

Caninology Canine Body Worker (CCBW) certification

The Caninology programme is part of the successful international course programme offered by Equinology, Inc and shared by Equinenergy/Caninenergy UK since 2000.

Enquiries will be answered via email or by phone. Contact office@equinenergy.com or visit www.equinenergy.com for further information!

Students are not required to hold human therapy qualifications to join this course, although these will be an advantage when studying the comparative anatomy portion of the course. Many students are already human or equine practitioners, and find that the skills to work with dogs are a profitable adjunct to their practice.

We offer two levels of CCBW certification, and continued education in canine myofascial release and canine NeuroKinetic Therapy. CCBW Level II graduates are eligible to join the academic stream into canine osteopathy, offered by learning partner Animal Osteopathy International.
