Carlisle Adult Education

Description

Adult Education Carlisle is one of a number of Adult Education providers in the county; it is funded by the Cumbria Adult Education (CAE) to provide a wide range of learning opportunities for people aged 16 years onwards. There are courses for people of all levels and interests, both qualification bearing and non qualification in a wide range of subjects.

Our courses are offered at Trinity School and at over 20 outreach Centres covering urban and rural Carlisle, Brampton and Longtown.

We hope that your experience of attending a course with us will be both a pleasant and rewarding one. We are constantly trying to improve the service we offer, so students will be asked to complete a course questionnaire at the end of their course. Tutor Recruitment and Monitoring

We recruit new tutors on an annual basis in line with our educational programme and student needs. All tutors are experienced in their specialist subject and have, or are working towards a teaching qualification. Tutors are monitored regularly through class visits, obversations, audits and student feedback. If you would like to discuss the possibility of offering a course at the Centre, please contact the Centre Manager to arrange an appointment.
