Course Aim:

To further participants' understanding of the materials and casting methods required to produce sound, porosity-free, cast cobalt chromium removable partial denture frameworks.

Course Objectives:

• Characterise four attributes of cobalt chromium as a denture base material.
• Describe the contribution of four of the constituents of cobalt chromium to the properties of alloy.
• Apply appropriate sprueing criteria to cast solid, cobalt chromium removable partial denture frameworks.
