CBC Foundation and Certificate in Marketing

Marketing is a human activity directed at satisfying needs and wants through an exchange process. This academinc level will give practitical knowledge to understanding and applying maketing techniques.

The Certificate qualification is concerned with the acquisition of basic knowledge relevant to executive responsibilities.

Foundation structure

The course lasts one term (September to December only) and consists of the following subjects:

1. Business English
2. Business Calculations
3. Introduction to Management
4. Introduction to Accounts

Students who are successful in all four subjects will receive a Foundation Certificate in Business Studies from the City Business College.

Certificate structure

The course lasts one term (January to June) only and consists of the following subjects:

1. Basic Marketing
2. Business Communications
3. Economics for Marketing
4. Practice of Marketing

Students who are successful in all four subjects will receive a Certificate in Marketing from the City Business College.
