Short course
The first week is spent at the Shrivenham Campus studying the theory of the subject by lectures, discussion and private study. The course includes visits to the Defence CBRN Centre and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) to study current development and research. The course is designed to cater both for students with some knowledge of the practical side of the subject matter and those who study one aspect of the area in greater detail.

This course is designed for all those interested in the science behind CBRN defence. It is the only course of this nature run in the UK. One of the benefits of the course is that MOD scientists and service practitioners meet each other in an informal atmosphere.
