This friendly supportive workshop is suitable for all students from beginners to more experienced calligraphers. The style known as half-uncial (found in manuscripts such as the Book of Kells and the Lindisfarne Gospels) will provide inspiration and a starting point to develop more personal letterforms. Students may produce a single ornamental letter or short text.
