CertHE Musical Theatre

This new, innovative Level 4 Musical Theatre CertHE is a challenging and wide ranging course which will prepare you for higher education and employment across the performing arts industry by equipping you with the relevant skills required in the theatre industry.
You will undertake comprehensive training in dance, acting and singing and will gain extensive stage experience, participating in workshops led by leading directors, musical directors and choreographers, whilst working towards productions in professional performance venues.
Sessions are performance based and designed to develop your skills on stage, help you to understand the repertoire you suit for auditions, and develop your academic understanding of the performing arts industry.
This dynamic, 'triple-threat' course is delivered by a strong team of experts and industry professionals, working towards exciting modules including: Singing, Acting, Dance Repertoire and Styles, Preparing to Audition, Musical Theatre Performance, The Professional Practitioner and Theatre Histories and Contexts.
You can choose to apply to progress onto a BA (Hons) Performing Arts (Top-Up) degree at our partnership institution the University of Gloucester.
