Principles and practice of 2D Computer-Aided Design. Use associated IT and CAD hardware and operating system, basic file management techniques and maintain health and safety, use and identify key components of software relating to 2D drawing, use range of viewing commands and set up drawing space, use CAD software's co-ordinate system, use drawing commands to produce shapes, use basic editing commands and produce simple hard copies, use hatch, text and simple dimensioning routines.
