Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) QCF Level 3 The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) QCF qualification (500/9758/1) is the new course which has replaced the old A1\2 and D32\33 assessor qualification. The course is sometimes referred to as TAQA and it is aimed at helping students to understand assessment strategies and quality assurance procedures for QCF qualifications. The VTCT accredited Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) QCF qualification is ideal for students who would like to be fully qualified assessors for learners in either the classroom and/or the work environment. This course will enable you to assess vocational competencies in a wide range of qualifications such as: Apprenticeships Functional Skills Technical Certificates NVQ’s Awards Certificates Diplomas Successful achievement of this qualification will provide sufficient evidence that you have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to enable you to assess within vocational education and training using a range of assessment methods. On completion of this unit you will:

On completion of this unit you will:
- Be able to make assessment decisions about occupational competence
- Be able to provide required information following the assessment of occupational competence
- Be able to maintain legal and good practice requirements when assessing occupational competence
