Certificate in Education for Sign Language Teachers

This course is for deaf people who wish to teach British Sign Language. It is delivered in British Sign Language. Learners will have the opportunity to choose to study from a range of optional units to support the specialist knowledge required in the teaching of sign language or lip-reading. All trainee teachers joining this qualification programme must undertake an initial assessment of skills in English, mathematics and ICT.
