Course programme
What will I study on the course?
This course includes both practical floristry and industry training. The units covered include Art and Design for florists which is practical in looking at colour and other design elements, Identification, care and monitoring of fresh materials - you will learn botanical classification and know how to treat cut flowers to get the longest life, practical hand tied designs and floral arrangements.
We cover seasonal designs and make lots of beautiful arrangements for Christmas, Valentine's day and Mother's day. You may also take part in events and weddings held in our beautiful Kirkley Hall.
