The HE Certificate in Healthcare Practice is aimed at HealthCare Support Workers who are working or willing and able to take on placement within the NHS or an alternative clinically approved employer. The majority of PT students will be seconded from Betsi Cadwaladr University Heath Board (BCUHB) to study at Level 4 on this programme. FT students will need to undertake substantial placement alongside the programme. This programme looks to up-skill students employed or in voluntary practice to Level 4. The programme is fully mapped against the first year of the BN (Hons) Adult Nursing Degree. September Part-time (PT): All candidates must be currently employed with a sponsoring health care employer and have the following: Full-time (FT): Candidates do not need to be employed with a sponsoring health care employer, but should have the following: Candidates who do not possess the above will be considered on an individual basis, but must demonstrate evidence of the ability to study successfully at Level 4. In addition, all PT and FT candidates must: English/Welsh language requirements: Any degrees, diplomas or certificates eligible above should have been taught and assessed in English or Welsh, or for applicants for whom English/Welsh is not their first language, English fluency to IELTS 5.5 or higher (with no element less than 5.0) Evidence of the above criteria will also be sought from application forms and references .
