There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification; however, the qualification is designed for those members of the school workforce who directly support the teaching and learning of pupils.

This course is delivered at the Graig campus and is assessed both at the Graig and in the work place. Delivered by highly qualified, experienced staff.
The Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (L3), aims to provide candidates with a secure understanding from which to progress to a level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools or to progress to a higher level teaching assistant role.
Additional information
Assessment is via in-course assignments that are set and marked in college and externally moderated by OCR and by assessment of work produced in the workplace. Assessment is based on a variety of methods: observation, witness testimonies, examining the evidence of work, personal statements, written answers to questions, photographs or video/audio tapes.
