Students studying for their ACCA qualification are eligible to obtain a BSc Honours Degree in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University. To be eligible for the award of the degree, you need to complete parts 1 and 2 of ACCA examinations and then to submit a research and development project for assessment. EXAMINATION RULES A maximum of 10 years is allowed for students to complete all examination papers from the date of registration · Pass mark for all examinations is 50%. · There are two examination sessions per year - one in June and one in December. · A maximum of 4 papers can be taken in a single examination session, but papers must be taken in order. · Examinations passed in Parts 1, 2 and the Part 3 Optional Papers can be retained, to prevent unnecessary re-taking of examinations. · Part 1 Papers must be completed before Part 3 Papers are attempted. · At least one optional paper in Part 3 must be completed before the Core Papers are attempted. · All the three Core Papers - 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 - must be sat and passed in the same examination session. If student has passed two of these papers and the marks in the third is in the range of 30%-49%, students will be given conditional passes in the two papers and the third paper must be passed within the next two consecutive examination sessions.
