You can take any number of papers in any order though we recommend that papers are attempted in numerical sequence to a maximum of five per sitting. All exam passes will be retained.

Some qualifications will receive exemption from some or all papers, but even with exemptions, you have to satisfy the necessary training requirement to complete the qualification as a whole. This is demonstrated by working in an accounting support role and recording details of your experience in the ACCA's Training Record.

Work Experience & Examinations
You must obtain at least one year's relevant experience. Experience can be obtained in any employment sector. The experience can be obtained before, during or after studying for the ACCA Accounting Technician Examinations. If necessary we will assist you in gaining the relevant experience.

The written examinations are held twice a year in June and December at a centre near your home. For details of CAT Examination and Enrolment fees please follow this link.
