This course explores the close relationship between the cervical and thoracic spine and the effect of dysfunction in one area on another. A comprehensive workbook with references is included.

Aims:

1. Improve your knowledge on anatomy and biornechanics related to pathology and dysfunction
2. Improve your ability to examine the cervical and thoracic joints, soft tissues and nerves safely and effectively
3. Improve your ability to identify instability in the thoracic and cervical spine and be able to implement an appropriate treatment programme
4. Review manual treatment techniques, soft tissue techniques and muscle control work in the management of cervical and thoracic dysfunction
