This qualification aims to provide expert guidance to learners wishing to gain knowledge and understanding on Electric Vehicle charging equipment installation.
Anyone that attends and successfully completes the City and Guilds 2919 with PTT will be eligible to become an approved installer for Rolec Electric Vehicle Charging equipment.
Under the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) scheme, for customers to be able to claim for the installation fees the installer must be registered with OLEV and registered with a recognised EV charging equipment supplier. As PTT is an approved training provider of Rolec, students are automatically eligible to become an approved Rolec equipment installer. This will require the student to contact Rolec confirming their successful completion of the 2919 qualification with PTT. Rolec will then advise them on how to become an approved Rolec installer.
