Changeover to Gel Course

This course is held on 1 day. Due to students being previously qualified in either acrylic or wrap system enhancements, we hope that they require none or very little input to the aspects of hand & nail anatomy, basic salon health & safety and tip application. This enables us to break the course down to 1 day, and to fill that day with specific product knowledge and practise. To determine whether students are suitable for this course we have a short discussion, (prior to booking the course), to discover how in depth the students knowledge to basic salon health & safety, natural nail anatomy and tip application is. The course starts with an in depth look at the Beautiful Nails (International) gel system. We discuss product safety, which includes product storage, product use & contamination. Benefits and reasons for the treatment are then explained. Finally students are then guided by detailed demos until they are happy to take part in application on their own. In order to successfully pass this course, students must obtain a minimum practical achievement level of 85%. If students do not reach the necessary standards we offer first retakes completely free of charge. The day runs from 10am until 4pm, with a lunch break of up to an hour. The price includes 1 day of tuition, a student manual, certificate and a small gel kit.
