History

To meet the ever-increasing needs and demands that the security industry requires; in 2010 Bargate Training & Consultancy formed part of the Charnwood Training Group.

Charnwood Training Group was established in 1998 by joint Managing Partners Steve Smith & Jeremy Scorer to provide specialist training in the hospitality and catering sectors. The team at Charnwood is passionate about raising hospitality standards and the company is licensed to deliver a wide range of nationally recognised qualifications, both commercial and government funded.

With expertise in providing training to the catering, hospitality and security industries – including Apprenticeships programmes in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality, Management, Team Leading and Security Services along with industry relevant qualifications to support these programmes.

As a professional Company, we are able to talk to you about your requirements and offer flexibility. We provide a wide range of training.

We have a commitment to individual attention, which means we prefer the maximum number of delegates to be 8 but will train up to 12 depending on subject material. One of our priorities is to encourage individuals to maximise their own strengths by using the products they are provided with. This will then awaken the potential of the most valuable asset - people!

We are very proud to say we are preferred suppliers for several large companies. All of our trainers are currently undergoing training themslves to PGCE standard in order to continue the excellence in delivery & to satify Continual Professional development.
