This special course has been designed to provide the highly skilled chemical engineers that are specifically needed by the nuclear industry.
You'll specialise in nuclear engineering, through taught modules, a design project and an individual research project focusing on nuclear technology. Our nuclear laboratory module gives you hands-on experience of working safely with radioactive sources, combined with an understanding of regulatory and safety principles.
When you graduate, you will be well prepared to work in areas such as nuclear power, fuel reprocessing and plant decommissioning.
The first two years of all our courses are the same. You have the flexibility to switch courses at the end of the second year.
