To develop an understanding of traumatic stress in early childhood stemming from neglect, poor attachment experiences, separation or loss.

Outline Content

By the end of the course, delegates should be able to consider the short and long-term impact on children in
terms of their learning, emotional and social development. To consider ways to help children who have had
