Students work in both directions between Chinese and English and follow core subjects covering: Conference Interpreting Translation Practice (Chinese-English) Translation & Interpreting Studies In-sessional classes provide advanced language and study support designed specifically for Chinese-English interpreting and translating students. Programme revisions Recent revisions to the programme include fewer mandatory courses and a much broader range of optional courses in professionally relevant subjects. This means that students can choose exactly which areas they would like to specialise in and can tailor the programme to their interests and their professional needs. Facilities Students benefit from excellent facilities for interpreting and translating, including state-of-the-art interpreting and language laboratories, digital resources for interpreting, and a range of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) software packages.
