Chinese (Mandarin) - Entry Level

This course will cover the key phrases to 'get by' when greeting people, shopping and eating out. The emphasis will be on practical use of the language through role play, structured conversational reading material to illustrate common situations and through the use of audio. Working individually, in pairs, small groups, or as a whole class, you will take part in a range of activities, such as quizzes, listening exercises and pronunciation practice.

Aims

To enable students to develop confidence in speaking, listening and some writing and reading basic Chinese and so to get by in simple everyday situations.
