CIH Certificate in Housing Level 4

The certificate in housing level 4 is delivered over a 12 month period by qualified lecturers. Students will attend the TVH Training Centre one day a month actively listening and participating in workshops. Students will complete assignments in their own time to complete the level.

It has been designed to meet the needs of people who are looking to progress to management positions in their organisations and those wishing to develop advanced skills in the areas of Supported Housing, Student Accommodation Management and generic Housing.

There are 4 core units and a pathway module;

Unit 1 - Housing and Society
Unit 2 - Housing Policy
Unit 3 - Customer Service for Housing
Unit 4 - Managing People

The pathways on offer for students to follow are;

• Housing Support
• Neighbourhoods and Community Services

Mode of study

Once a month class sessions at TVHA with home study and task completion.

Progression

The CIH level 4 can be followed by the CIH level4 diploma in Housing and is the first part of the CIH professional qualification.
