Course Overview:
This qualification is designed for learners who work within the Housing Sector
The course aims to:
Help the housing sector to recruit and retain staff with generic skills such as communications, technical knowledge, customer care and IT.
Develop the skills and knowledge necessary of people working in a front line capacity in housing, who wish to attain a generic qualification in housing.
Provide learners with a detailed understanding of a specialist area of housing practice
Prepare learners to progress to Level 4

Course programme

Course Delivery:

The course consists of 3 mandatory units (12 credits),

The 3 mandatory units being:-
1. Delivery of Affordable Housing Services
2. Equality & Diversity for Housing
3. Professional Practice Skills for Housing

Each unit will be assessed using marking criteria supplied by the Chartered Institute of Housing

The course is delivered through half day sessions bi-monthly. This will provide students with the underpinning knowledge and support to complete all assignments.
