CILEx Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law & Practice
The level 6 professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice is the final academic stage towards qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive lawyer and it is set and assessed at Honours degree standard. In order to achieve this award you will need to complete six subjects in total. Upon successful completion of this stage you can apply to become a CILEx fellow once you have completed a period of qualifying employment.
CILEx Level 6 Single Subject Certificate Qualification
Each CILEx unit that is offered by the University of Wolverhampton can be studied as a single subject certificate. Units you have successfully completed can also be taken into account if you decide to embark upon the full qualification.

About this course
A legal executive is a qualified lawyer. The term 'legal executive' can only be used by Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), who have followed one of the prescribed routes to qualification.
Entry onto CILEx Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice requires:
CILEx level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice or equivalent;
A satisfactory reference will be required as part of our selection process.
