The CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management (QCF) qualification is a total of 44 credits (four core units of 20 credits in total and 14 credits taken from optional units).
To achieve the Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management you must successfully complete the following core units (20 credits):
- Developing Professional Practice (5DVP)
- Business Issues and the Context of Human Resources (5CHR)
- Using Information in Human Resources (5UIN)
- Managing and Co-ordinating the Human Resources Function (5HRF)
You will also need to complete 14 credit-worth of optional units.
There are no specified entry requirements. However, individuals need to be satisfied of their ability to study in English at Level 5.
The assessments are completed via a combination of methods set by CIPD.
Examples of the typical job roles these qualifications can help you enter or progress in include HR Assistant, Learning and Development Coordinator, HR Coordinator and Trainer. You can also progress your studies further by undertaking the CIPD Advanced Level Qualifications.
